About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Audiologist to join our team at Riverside Health System. As an Audiologist, you will play a critical role in providing comprehensive audiological services to patients of all ages, including hearing and balance evaluations, audiological rehabilitation, and hearing aid dispensing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough hearing and balance evaluations using various techniques, including audiometry, central auditory processing evaluations, and videonystagmography.
  • Develop and implement effective audiological rehabilitation treatment plans, utilizing evidence-based practice and patient-centered care.
  • Dispense and fit hearing aids, as well as provide ongoing support and maintenance to patients.
  • Provide educational services to the community, including health fairs, open houses, and community events.
  • Maintain educational awareness through local media and collaborate with team members to promote hearing health and conservation.
Requirements
  • Masters Degree in Audiology or related field (required); Doctoral Degree preferred.
  • 2 years of relevant experience (preferred); Licensed Audiologist with Virginia Department of Health Professions (VDHP) certification required.
  • Hearing Aid Specialist certification also required.
