Riverside Health System is seeking a skilled Audiologist to join our team.
About the RoleWe are looking for a highly qualified Audiologist to provide comprehensive audiological services to patients of all ages. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in audiology, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct hearing and balance evaluations using various techniques, including audiometry, central auditory processing evaluations, and videonystagmography.
- Develop and implement personalized audiological rehabilitation treatment plans, incorporating evidence-based practices and patient-centered care.
- Dispense and fit hearing aids, as well as provide education and support to patients and their families.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and referrals.
- Participate in community outreach and education initiatives to promote hearing health and awareness.
- Masters Degree in Audiology or related field (required); Doctoral Degree (preferred).
- 2+ years of relevant experience (preferred).
- Licensed Audiologist with the Virginia Department of Health Professions (VDHP) and Hearing Aid Specialist certification.
