Job Title: Audiologist

Riverside Health System is seeking a skilled Audiologist to join our team.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly qualified Audiologist to provide comprehensive audiological services to patients of all ages. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in audiology, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct hearing and balance evaluations using various techniques, including audiometry, central auditory processing evaluations, and videonystagmography.
  • Develop and implement personalized audiological rehabilitation treatment plans, incorporating evidence-based practices and patient-centered care.
  • Dispense and fit hearing aids, as well as provide education and support to patients and their families.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and referrals.
  • Participate in community outreach and education initiatives to promote hearing health and awareness.
Requirements
  • Masters Degree in Audiology or related field (required); Doctoral Degree (preferred).
  • 2+ years of relevant experience (preferred).
  • Licensed Audiologist with the Virginia Department of Health Professions (VDHP) and Hearing Aid Specialist certification.
