Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and oversee cloud-based infrastructure tailored to meet the organization's requirements. Facilitate the deployment of new applications to the cloud and the migration of existing applications from on-premises systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, system administrators, and data analytics teams, to deliver effective cloud solutions.
  • Monitor and enhance the performance of cloud systems and applications, ensuring cost-efficiency and high availability.
  • Exhibit strong technical proficiency with Windows Servers, DNS, DHCP, DFS, server and application monitoring, IT security, disaster recovery, PowerShell, and database management, including MSSQL.
  • Lead medium to large-scale projects related to cloud services, such as Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS).
  • Create comprehensive technical documentation.
  • Assist technical teams with escalated support inquiries and participate in an on-call rotation for critical issues.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and strategies to deliver efficient service to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage vendor relationships to uphold service levels and contractual obligations.
  • Participate in an after-hours on-call rotation as required.
  • Adhere to all relevant policies, laws, and regulations applicable to the role. Complete compliance training and follow internal processes and controls as necessary.
  • Report any compliance issues or violations of laws or regulations in accordance with established policies.
  • Regular and reliable attendance is a fundamental aspect of this position.
  • Perform additional job-related duties or special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A minimum of five years of progressive experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, is preferred.
  • Proficiency in cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure-based databases and data storage solutions is advantageous.
  • Microsoft certifications are preferred.
  • A valid driver's license is required.

Work Environment:

This position primarily involves indoor work, with occasional exposure to outdoor elements. The workload is moderate, requiring the ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds frequently and exert up to 75 pounds of force occasionally. Some travel may be necessary.

This role is eligible for a hybrid work-from-home arrangement following the completion of onboarding.
