About the Role
We are seeking a Customer Service Registrar Part Time to join our team at Terre Haute Regional Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for timely and accurate patient registration, interviewing patients to obtain all necessary account information, and verifying insurance coverage.
Key Responsibilities
- Interview patients at workstation or at bedside to obtain all necessary account information.
- Provide exemplary customer service to patients and their families.
- Ensure charts are completed and accurate, and verify all insurance and obtain pre-certification/authorization.
- Calculate and collect patient liability amounts, and ensure that all necessary signatures are obtained for treatments.
- Process patient charts according to paperwork flow needs and established productivity standards.
Requirements
- 1 year of related experience preferred.
- Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office applications required.
