Medical Specialist for Pulmonary and Sleep Patients

As a Medical Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care to new and follow-up patients.
Job SummaryWe offer a competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience, along with excellent benefits and opportunities for professional growth.Key ResponsibilitiesUnder the general supervision of a physician, you will:
- Conduct comprehensive history and physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and write prescriptions.
- Collaborate with patients, family members, and other healthcare professionals to develop effective treatment plans.
- Provide education and resources to patients and families on various topics, including treatments, wellness, prevention, and early detection.
- Document all services and orders in patient electronic medical records.
- Communicate with referring physicians to ensure seamless care.
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
- A graduate degree in Advanced Nursing Practice (ARNP) or an ARC-PA accredited Physician Assistant program.
- An unrestricted California NP license or a current California State Physician Assistant License.
- A DEA certificate without restriction.
- ACLS certification.
- Two years of related experience as an NP/PA, preferably in pulmonary and sleep medicine.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
