Job Title: Senior Defense Financial Manager

Strategic Analysis, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Defense Financial Manager to join our team. As a key member of our financial planning and budgeting team, you will be responsible for providing program planning, budgeting, execution, and related PPBE analysis for a DoD/OSD R&D program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with a coordinated support team to grasp complex concepts and technologies, apply critical and innovative thinking, communicate effectively, and work seamlessly across functional areas.
  • Assist with the preparation and tracking of financial and budgetary data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide research expertise and program support to activities related to procurements, schedules, risk, user impact, and technology/system transfer efforts.
  • Conduct analyses of program budget execution, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Prepare and coordinate MIPRs, purchase requests, funding documents, and Inter-Agency Agreements (IAA), ensuring timely and accurate submission.
  • Prepare documentation to support requests for resources, including budget justifications and financial reports.
  • Perform account reconciliation, identifying and tracing financial discrepancies and coordinating corrective action.
  • Maintain cognizance of program funds, providing inputs for regular and ad hoc meetings.
Qualifications:
  • TS/SCI clearance required.
  • BA or BS in business administration, finance, accounting, or related discipline required.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience performing financial analyses and execution of programs and projects, including preparing MIPRs, sub-allocations, and Inter-Agency Agreements (IAA) funding documents.
