Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Staff Site Reliability Engineer (Federal) to join our ZPA team. This role requires Secret Security Clearance and Information Assurance Technician Level 2 Certification. The successful candidate will oversee operational tasks for FedRAMP cloud products, manage cloud infrastructure components, and develop operations documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in regular deployment sync meetings and operational hand-offs
  • Manage all cloud infrastructure components, including AWS GovCloud and private cloud environments
  • Develop operations documentation and handle escalations
  • Implement measures to prevent recurring incidents and contribute to DevOps best practices
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer in an Operations or Engineering environment
  • Experience with High/Moderate FedRAMP authorization levels and monthly monitoring programs
  • Hands-on experience with Linux administration, basic network troubleshooting, and infrastructure as code and automation tools
  • Coding experience (preferably Python) and expertise in container-based architectures
  • Knowledge of virtualization, cloud architecture and services, automated deployments, web security, and protocols
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with High/Moderate FedRAMP authorization levels, including monthly monitoring programs
  • Information Assurance Technician Level 2 certification or willingness to complete the certification within a few weeks of employment
