Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our team as a Senior Water Resources Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for developing construction documents, including drawings and specifications, for various projects such as dam rehabilitations/removals, stream crossings, and stormwater systems.

The ideal candidate will have experience in hydrologic, hydraulic, and water quality modeling software, including HEC-RAS 1D/2D, Infoworks ICM, and PCSWMM. You will also assist with RFQ/RFP responses, watershed planning, MS4 program compliance, and water quality investigations.

As a member of our team, you will collaborate with resilience planners, environmental engineers, engagement specialists, and other disciplines to deliver transformative projects that promote equity, health, and wellness, and sustainability. You will also attend and present at conferences, represent the company publicly, and think like an owner, making informed decisions in the best interest of all employee owners.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's in Agricultural/Biosystems, Civil, or Environmental Engineering (Required)
  • Master's in Agricultural/Biosystems, Civil, or Environmental Engineering (Preferred)
  • 5-8 years' experience in a related position (Preferred)
  • North Carolina PE (Required)
  • Operating knowledge and proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and ESRI GIS (Required)
  • Experience in MicroStation V8i or Open Roads a plus (Preferred)
