Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Emergency Room at Christus Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, taking into account the patient's medical history, physical condition, and personal preferences.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and therapists, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure that patient needs are met and that care is delivered in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to improve patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
  • Current RN licensure in the state of practice
  • One year of experience in emergency nursing or a related field
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification
