Job Title: Registered Nurse Emergency Room

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our dynamic Emergency Department team at i4 Search Group Healthcare.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced emergency room environment. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our dedicated professionals to provide high-quality care to patients in need.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain high standards of care in the emergency room.
  • Assess patients quickly, prioritize, and assist in minor procedures.
  • Manage patient check-in, perform triage work for doctors, and assist with initial insurance paperwork.
  • Communicate with doctors and patients to keep everyone updated on test results and treatment recommendations.
  • Collaborate with laboratory personnel and report lab findings back to ER doctors.
  • Assist in the care of traumas, cardiac arrests, strokes, sexual assaults, and conscious sedation.
  • Demonstrate sound decision-making in emergency situations based on patient conditions.
  • Provide RN care for all ER patients, including intubations, defibrillations, auto transfusions, and more.

Requirements:

  • Associate's Degree in Nursing.
  • One year experience in nursing preferred.
  • Current Texas State RN License or Compact RN License.
  • BLS (American Heart Association).
  • ACLS required at time of hire for experienced RNs.
  • PALS required at time of hire for experienced RNs.
  • Crisis intervention training required within 12 months of hire/transfer date.
  • TNCC required within 6 weeks of hire for experienced RNs.
