Job Title: Paraprofessional Educator

About the Role

This position is for a full-time Paraprofessional Educator to support students with special needs in an educational setting. The ideal candidate will be able to work closely with classroom teachers to help implement lesson plans and provide additional support to students as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist classroom teachers with preparing and implementing class activities
  • Support students with special needs during instructional activities
  • Participate in on-going in-service training to improve skills and knowledge
  • Assist with record keeping and data collection
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution; OR 60 college credits with a grade of C or better
  • Georgia Paraprofessional Certificate required
  • No prior experience necessary, but willingness to learn and grow is essential
Work Environment:

This role is based in Cobb County, Georgia, and requires working in an educational setting with students and staff. A flexible schedule is not guaranteed, but regular attendance is expected.

Salary Information:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $30,000 - $40,000 based on experience and education level.
