Position Overview

Watermill Express LLC is a leading provider of refill kiosks that deliver affordable, sustainable, and safe drinking water and ice in a convenient drive-up format.

The Field Maintenance Technician is responsible for the upkeep, repair, and support of the refill station infrastructure, equipment, and adjacent areas. Responsibilities encompass a variety of tasks including general sanitation efforts, plumbing maintenance, painting, basic mechanical and electrical repairs, troubleshooting, and some elementary refrigeration system upkeep.

This role requires independent work, and a strong sense of pride in the quality of your contributions is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Adhere to safety protocols and conduct oneself in a safe manner.
  • Uphold and promote the company's Code of Conduct.
  • Paint and maintain refill stations, including walls, pedestals, doors, protective posts, and roofs.
  • Utilize pressure washing techniques on refill stations.
  • Manage landscaping at refill stations.
  • Repair and maintain parking lots and refill stations.
  • Replace signage, decals, and banners as necessary.
  • Conduct basic maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of refill stations in accordance with company standards.
  • Assist with construction and development projects as required.
  • Repair water-only and water-ice units as needed.
  • Maintain and care for company vehicles, inventory, and equipment.
  • Drive company vehicles to various locations within the assigned area.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Team-oriented with a positive attitude.
  • Ability to adhere to the required work schedule.
  • Proficient in painting techniques.
  • Experience with hand tools and their maintenance.
  • Consistent attendance to fulfill job responsibilities.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle record.

Physical Demands

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Capable of climbing ladders, bending, walking, and standing for extended periods.
  • Ability to work safely in confined spaces within water-only and water-ice units.
  • Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle.
  • Availability for overtime, including weekends or evenings as necessary.

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Preferred background in electrical, maintenance, repair, or related fields.

This position is classified as safety-sensitive due to the essential requirement of operating a company vehicle on public roadways.
