About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Building Operations Engineer to join our team at Newmark Group Inc. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing various building operating systems.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems to ensure proper operations.
  • Conduct periodic general preventative maintenance on these systems, including lubrication, adjustment, cleaning, replacement of consumable parts, and testing of equipment.
  • Be responsive to tenant requests in areas of safety, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, and environmental needs.
  • Prepare and maintain maintenance logs and records, and coordinate contractor approvals for work orders that require outside contractors.
  • Perform all assigned work to ensure safety of tenants and continuous operation of the site.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years previous building operations engineering experience.
  • CFC certification in high pressure discipline.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and make decisions.
  • Proficient computer skills.
Compensation

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $75,000 to $83,200 annually, with additional types of compensation including discretionary bonuses and other short- and long-term incentives.
