Job Title: Linux System Administrator

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the implementation, troubleshooting, and upkeep of IT systems.
  • Oversee IT system infrastructure and associated processes.
  • Deliver Tier 1 and Tier 2 problem identification and resolution.
  • Enhance system operations and optimize resource utilization.
  • Configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems.
  • Install and set up Linux systems, conduct system maintenance, and manage backups.
Qualifications:
Essential:
  • Possession of an active TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field with 5 years of experience as a Systems Administrator.
  • Compliance with DoD 8570 at IAT Level 2.
  • Proven experience in Linux system administration.
  • Familiarity with Linux patching, updates, and back-end support.
  • Experience with VMWare and exposure to AWS.
Preferred:
  • Master's degree in a technical field with relevant experience.
  • Linux Certification such as CompTIA Linux+, RHCSA, or equivalent.
  • Experience in Linux automation, container usage, scripting, and network scripting.
  • Familiarity with Atlassian Tools and Agile development methodologies.
  • Understanding of SIEM and AWS cloud network architecture.
Salary Range:
$112,000 - $179,000 based on experience.
