Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at VITUS Search Group. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic tests on diesel vehicles, analyzing test results, and repairing or replacing engine, steering, transmission, braking, or lighting system components.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Performing diagnostic tests on diesel vehicles to identify faults.
  • Analyzing diagnostic test results to determine the necessary repairs.
  • Repairing or replacing engine, steering, transmission, braking, or lighting system components.
  • Maintaining and repairing diesel engines in heavy-duty equipment.
  • Diagnosing mechanical issues and performing regular maintenance.
  • Fixing necessary repairs to ensure optimal performance.
  • Using various tools and equipment, such as hand tools, power tools, and computerized diagnostic machines.
  • Performing welding or fabrication tasks on trailers and other equipment.
  • Preparing work orders and ordering parts.

Requirements:
  • Strong A or Strong B Tech certification.
  • Experience working with diesel engines and heavy-duty equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
