Diesel Mechanic Opportunity in Meridian, Mississippi

We are seeking skilled Diesel Mechanics to join our team at a leading transportation company based in Meridian, Mississippi. This is an exciting opportunity for motivated individuals who are passionate about working with diesel engines and heavy-duty equipment.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic tests on diesel vehicles to identify faults, analyzing test results, and repairing or replacing engine, steering, transmission, braking, or lighting system components. Additionally, they will maintain and repair diesel engines in heavy-duty equipment, diagnose mechanical issues, perform regular maintenance, and ensure optimal performance.

Responsibilities:
  • Diagnostic Testing: Perform thorough diagnostic tests on diesel vehicles to identify faults and analyze test results.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Repair or replace engine, steering, transmission, braking, or lighting system components, as well as maintain and repair diesel engines in heavy-duty equipment.
  • Mechanical Issues: Diagnose and address mechanical issues to ensure optimal performance.
  • Regular Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent mechanical issues and extend the lifespan of equipment.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving abilities. You should also have experience working with diesel engines and heavy-duty equipment, as well as knowledge of relevant safety procedures.

Compensation:
