Job Summary

Goddard Riverside Community Center is seeking a Senior Residential Aide to join our team. As a key member of our residential program, you will be responsible for ensuring the general welfare and safety of residents, staff, and the facility. This role requires a strong commitment to providing quality service deliverables and a passion for working with individuals and families in transitional housing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the monitoring and development of resident's daily independent living skills
  • Monitor and ensure quality intake services are being provided to clients
  • Cultivate professional and positive relationships with residents
  • Utilize evidence-based practice models, including person-centered planning and trauma-informed care
  • Assist Case Managers with groups as needed
  • Perform and confirm all daily room and bed inspections
  • Manage operations desk and ensure documentation of client whereabouts
  • Work collaboratively with building staff to assist tenants and ensure tenant safety
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Experience in shelter or residential setting
  • Fluency in English and any language required to effectively meet the linguistic needs of our diverse resident community
  • A Food Protection Certificate will be required during first few weeks of hire
  • F-80 certification will be required within first 3 months of hire
