Job Title: Staff LPN

Job Summary:

This position provides nursing care to patients and families along the health-illness continuum in diverse healthcare settings. The LPN is accountable for the practice of nursing as defined by the Ohio Board of Nursing.

Responsibilities:
  • Provides nursing care to patients and families in diverse healthcare settings
  • Collaborates with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Delegates nursing tasks to unlicensed assistive personnel (UAPs) using the criteria written in the Ohio Nurse Practice Act
  • Serves as a resource for other associates
  • Communicates instructions and inspects work
Requirements:
  • BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association
  • LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - National Council of State Boards of Nursing
  • Must hold a current license from the State of Ohio
  • Successfully completed Ohio Board of Nursing approved medication course
Work Environment:

This position is scheduled to work night shifts with 36 hours per week in the Medical Unit 2 department.
