Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician III to join our team at Fairview Health Services. As a Pharmacy Technician III, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and accurate preparation of medications for our patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to ensure pharmacy patients receive their medication(s) accurately and safely.
  • Fulfill and prepare prescription orders for delivery in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Maintain appropriate stock levels of supplies to use within the buffer room on a daily basis.
  • Ensure a safe, secure environment and comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of two-years pharmacy technician experience or completion of an American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) accredited pharmacy technician training program.
  • IV Sterile compounding background.
  • Registered Technician with Minnesota Board of Pharmacy.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Graduate of Pharmacy Technician program.
  • Completion of an American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) accredited pharmacy technician training program.
  • Pharmacy certification with the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board.
