We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Therapeutic Mentor to join our team at JRI Inc. As a Therapeutic Mentor, you will play a vital role in supporting young people and their families in achieving their goals and creating lasting change towards a better future.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to work with our Community Based Services division, providing care to families and their children with significant behavioral, emotional, and mental health needs. You will work collaboratively with our team to provide a range of community-based services, including CBHI services, skill coaching, job coaching, life skills training, and crisis management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support to young people and their families, helping them to achieve their goals and overcome challenges.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to develop and implement treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each family.
  • Provide education and support to families on mental health, behavioral management, and life skills.
  • Collaborate with community agencies and other stakeholders to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to care.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a human service field from an accredited university.
  • At least one year of direct relevant experience working with youth and families who require behavior management to address mental health needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
