About the Role

Sunrun is a leading provider of solar energy solutions, and we're seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Solar Sales Consultant to join our team. As a Solar Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for generating sales leads and presenting our solar products and services to potential customers in their homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop effective sales strategies and leads to meet or exceed sales targets
  • Provide exceptional customer service and sales experience from initial contact through installation and beyond
  • Conduct in-home sales presentations and evaluate customers' knowledge and needs to build long-lasting relationships
  • Manage the pipeline of activity from prospect to install, following up with all leads and in-home consultations
  • Accurately report on outcomes via our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool
Requirements
  • Minimum of 1 year of sales and/or lead generation experience, with in-home sales experience preferred
  • Must be 21 years of age, possess a valid driver's license, and maintain a clean driving record with the ability to pass a driving background check
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to partner cross-functionally when addressing customer needs
  • Willingness to spend time traveling within the local market, depending on business needs and sales model
  • Intermediate comfort level with technology, utilizing an IPAD/computer and multiple software applications
