About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced orthopedic trauma surgeon to join our multidisciplinary team at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria, Louisiana.

Job Summary

This is an excellent opportunity for a talented surgeon to develop their career in a busy Level 2 trauma center with a large volume of complex cases, including pelvis/acetabulum, periarticular fractures, upper and lower extremity.

Responsibilities
  • Perform surgical procedures for complex orthopedic trauma cases
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with orthopedic trauma injuries
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
Requirements
  • Orthopedic trauma fellowship training required
  • Board-eligible or certified
  • Comfortable with a large volume of complex trauma-operative cases
  • Shared call schedule with 7 nights per month expected
  • Elective practice allowed/encouraged at candidate's discretion
