HVAC Goods Delivery Specialist

At Baker Distributing, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Driver Warehouse Associate to join our team. This role involves daily delivery and transportation of HVAC goods and materials from our wholesale distributorships to customers, vendors, or other Sales Center locations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in truck driving, warehouse operations, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent Baker Distributing as a leader in the industry.
- Load and unload products in trucks for delivery to customers and/or other Sales Centers.
- Collect invoices with proper signatures and return to Sales Center Manager.
- Assist in the Warehouse with inventory counts, picking, and verifying orders.
- Responsible for daily truck maintenance and reporting in/out times with merchandise returns.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 1-year truck driving experience.
- Box Truck delivery experience.
- Must possess a clean driving record with no restrictions, suspensions, or DUI convictions in the past 3 years.
- Must have a current DOT Physical card prior to employment.
- Must be able to pass DOT physical examination requirements.
- CDL license is highly desirable.
- Warehouse experience, including driving a forklift/appliance lift, is a plus.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with customers and provide superior service.
- Must possess the attitude of wanting to learn and grow with the Company.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Must possess and maintain a current, valid Driver's License.

Licensing and Certifications:
- Valid driver license.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Must be able to frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
- The employee frequently is required to stand, sit, or walk, climb, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Ability to utilize a computer keyboard, computer monitor, and telephone for prolonged periods of time.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- The employee may use equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
- Must be able to utilize heavy machinery.
