We are seeking a highly skilled Actuarial Risk Manager or Reserving Actuary to join our team at DW Simpson. As a key member of our Commercial Lines team, you will be responsible for performing in-depth profitability reviews, developing and enhancing complex models, and monitoring performance metrics.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough profitability reviews to identify areas for improvement
- Develop and maintain advanced models to analyze and predict commercial lines performance
- Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to inform business decisions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improvement
- 7+ years of experience in the actuarial field, with a strong background in Commercial Lines and Reserving
- Proficiency in data manipulation and modeling tools, such as Excel, SQL, and statistical software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively
- FCAS or career ACAS designation, with a strong understanding of actuarial principles and practices
- A competitive salary range of $150k - $200K
