Chemix, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Embedded Systems Engineer to join our team in the development of innovative, small form-factor devices with a focus on low power consumption, mass/volume constraints, and advanced wireless communication technologies.

This role plays a critical part in designing, prototyping, and optimizing embedded systems that integrate hardware, firmware, and mechanical components seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop low power consumption embedded systems with a focus on mass/volume constraints and small form-factor.
  • Create and optimize hardware and firmware for embedded devices, ensuring seamless integration and high performance.
  • Develop and prototype wireless communication solutions, including NFC, Bluetooth, WiFi, and 5G, to meet product requirements.
  • Work closely with machine learning research staff, data engineers, and battery engineers to understand use cases and design solutions.
  • Drive fast-paced development and prototyping of new concepts, focusing on delivering high-quality, manufacturable solutions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, with 5+ years of experience in embedded systems design and development.
  • Experience with Battery Management Systems (BMS) Design.
  • Proven track record in developing embedded systems, including hardware, firmware, and mechanical integration.
  • Strong experience in designing low power, small form-factor devices with mass/volume constraints.
  • Proficiency in flex and rigid PCB design, with a deep understanding of design for manufacturability.

Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year
