Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Individualized Support: Work one-on-one with assigned youth, providing emotional support, guidance, and resources to help them achieve their goals.
  • Facilitate Group Activities: Plan and implement group activities, workshops, and events that promote socialization, skill-building, and personal growth.
  • Collaborate with Staff: Work closely with program staff, including Program Services Coordinators and Lead Youth Engagement Specialists, to ensure seamless support and services for youth.
  • Document Progress: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of youth progress, including goals, challenges, and successes.
  • Participate in Training and Development: Engage in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in trauma-informed care, youth development, and crisis intervention.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; further education in human services, social work, or psychology preferred.
  • Experience: Previous experience working with at-risk youth, preferably in a residential or community-based setting.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively with diverse populations; strong problem-solving and crisis management skills.
  • Certifications/Licenses: Valid driver's license and successful completion of background checks required.
