Job Title: Senior C# Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior C# Developer to join our team at Quality Manufacturing Systems, Inc. (QMSI). As a Senior C# Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and modifying real-time custom automation control programs in C# and MS SQL Server.

Job Description

At QMSI, we specialize in manufacturing automation controls and systems integration. Our primary focus is custom high-end systems, serving customers worldwide. We have immediate openings for senior software developers and systems engineers with 3-8 years of experience who want a challenging profession and enjoy travel.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in C# and MS SQL Server, with experience in developing real-time systems and automation control programs. You will work directly with customers and other QMSI departments during project development, deployment, and support.

Responsibilities include:

  • Analyzing and designing real-time custom automation control programs in C# and MS SQL Server
  • Employing best practices and QMSI coding standards for existing and new projects
  • Working directly with customers and other QMSI departments during project development, deployment, and support
  • Independently performing field installations (average 35% travel per year; can exceed 50% over a given 6-month period)
  • Troubleshooting complex issues
  • Mentoring junior developers and leading small project teams

Minimum Job Requirements include:

  • Ability to code in multiple high-level languages (C# a plus)
  • Ability to utilize WPF for GUI development
  • Ability to install and configure Windows operating systems
  • Ability to test and debug code written by others (without re-writing it), to perform software integration tests from written test procedures, and to identify need for, and develop test programs for module testing critical code segments
  • Knowledge of at least one database product (MS SQL Server a plus)
  • Ability to prototype development for new technologies
  • Good familiarity with network structures and tools
  • Ability to write small software quotes and review larger quotes.
  • Must be a US citizen or green card holder

**Please note that this is a challenging position that requires a strong background in C# and MS SQL Server, as well as experience in developing real-time systems and automation control programs.**
