About the Role

At Ford Motor Company, we're shaping the future of mobility and seeking a talented SAP SD Lead Solution Architect to join our team. As a key member of our Customer Service Division, you'll play a crucial role in delivering world-class software solutions that drive business success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical leadership and hands-on development expertise for the Sales & Distribution Order-To-Cash products within our Customer Service Division.
  • Lead the transformation of our North American Order Management process by transitioning from legacy systems to SAP S/4 HANA.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive API economy and solutions.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive diagnostics, repair, and service capabilities for a full portfolio of Electrified, Hybrid, and Internal Combustion vehicles globally.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (minimum of 12 years), or an associate degree with a minimum of 6 years of equivalent work experience.
  • Proven professional experience of 15+ years, working as an SD OTC consultant/architect in large complex SAP implementation projects, with hands-on experience in SD configuration.
  • Ability to work hands-on in development, in addition to leading others on the technical team.
  • Excellent understanding of the overall SAP SD module and how it integrates with other components of the S/4HANA Suite (S/4 Core, SPP, MM, FI, EWM).
  • Demonstrated understanding and ability to drive API economy and solutions.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across the organization and navigate complex decision-making in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Strong leadership and ability to motivate and lead teams, including experience collaborating with engineers, designers, and Go-to-market leads.
  • Proven ability to work closely with senior leadership.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to adapt your communication style to the audience and teach others.
  • Project experience on interfaces with both SAP and non-SAP systems, including iDocs, RFCs, BAPI, etc.
  • Ability to read ABAP code and debugging skills is preferred.
  • Complete knowledge on every phase of SAP implementation, including creation of business blueprint, implementation based on a blueprint, creation of test cases, test scheduling and execution, key user training, roles and authorization, data migration, go-live support, and post-go-live support.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge and experience with SAP RISE.
  • Worked in SAP implementations in NA & EU.
  • Worked in Classic ECC to S/4 migrations.
