Role Responsibilities:The Warehouse Specialist Lead is responsible for overseeing a variety of tasks within the warehouse environment, ensuring efficient management of materials and supplies. Key responsibilities include:
- Receiving, stocking, and distributing materials while verifying shipments for accuracy.
- Gathering technical specifications and conducting procurement activities for necessary materials.
- Managing inventory levels and ensuring timely fulfillment of customer orders.
- Collaborating with vendors to address any discrepancies related to shipments.
- Maintaining accurate records and utilizing inventory management systems effectively.
- Assigning tasks to team members and providing guidance as needed.
- Operating warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Conducting regular inventory audits and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Responding to emergency situations outside of regular working hours.
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
- A minimum of one year of experience in inventory management and purchasing.
- Knowledge of modern warehousing practices and safety standards.
- Ability to pass a National Agency Check with Inquiries (Tier 1) background check.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Capability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 75 pounds.
- A valid state driver's license and a clean driving record.
