Your Role as Outbound Operations Coordinator

Location: Edgerton, KS - Hostess Distribution Center

Work Schedule: 4 pm to 2:30 am

Key Responsibilities:
  • Gather and compile data for daily outbound reporting, ensuring timely distribution to all relevant stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Exhibit self-motivation and reliability, collaborating well with team members or working independently.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and business partners regarding workflow, trends, and labor capacity.
  • Lead and assist in the communication of outbound workload to business partners, ensuring adherence to customer service standards.
  • Take ownership of and manage the daily outbound plan.
  • Utilize SAP systems (EWM, ECC preferred) for operational efficiency.
  • Possess advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Visio.
  • Maintain a strong attention to detail in all tasks.
  • Adapt to a fast-paced environment with flexibility.
  • Proactively identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance outbound operations.
  • Accurately maintain and input necessary data into the workflow system, following up on items that require attention.
  • Create visual representations of trends and develop countermeasures for any deficiencies in the outbound plan.
  • Analyze data using statistical techniques and report findings to relevant business members.
  • Collaborate with various teams within the organization to establish and execute improvement projects.

What We Seek:

Minimum Qualifications:
  • An associate degree in computer systems or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Previous experience as a wave planner or production planner, with a strong analytical and distribution background.
