Job Description

The Peer Note Taker position at Babson College provides class notes to eligible students registered with Accessibility Services. This role is a vital part of our commitment to creating an inclusive learning environment.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Take copious notes during class time and upload quality class notes from your course on the same day (within 12 hours of the end of the class).
  • Submit a timesheet once a week, an hour after the last class of the week.
  • Find a substitute if you are unable to attend class.
Qualifications
  • Excellent listening skills.
  • Neat handwriting (if a laptop is not permitted in class).
  • Excellent typing and computer skills.

All employees of Babson College, including note takers, are expected to uphold the college's core values, including ethical work practice. This means submitting timesheets that reflect time worked and not submitting time when you do not take notes.

We will extend an offer to the first qualified candidate. This position will not begin until you see this position in your Workday account, and you may not start until this is confirmed. A social security number is required, and you must supply Student Employment with the necessary documents to be eligible to work on campus.
