Job Title: Peer Note Taker Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to provide class notes to eligible students registered with Accessibility Services at Babson College. Duties and Responsibilities: * Take copious notes during class time and upload quality class notes from your course on the same day (within 12 hours of the end of the class) * Submit a timesheet once a week, an hour after the last class of the week * Find a substitute if unable to attend class Qualifications: * Excellent listening skills * Neat handwriting (if a laptop is not permitted in class) * Excellent typing and computer skills Other: * All employees of Babson College, including note takers, are expected to uphold the college's core values, including ethical work practice * Note takers should not submit time when they do not take notes, such as class projects, quizzes, exams, or class cancellations Requirements: * A social security number is required * Documentation such as passports needed for campus employment must be readily available * Ability to meet with student employment within 24 hours of job offer Contact: EJ Chen, Assistant Director, Babson College, Accessibility Services
