This role is essential for the upkeep and safeguarding of classified systems within Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs). Candidates should possess a robust background in IT security, compliance, and contingency planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • User Support: Provide assistance to personnel within SCIFs on both unclassified and classified networks.
  • Equipment Security: Maintain the integrity of IT equipment within SCIFs, ensuring proper documentation for all equipment and media entering and exiting these facilities.
  • Operational Continuity: Engage in initiatives to guarantee swift response and recovery from emergencies, including participation in Continuity of Operations (COOP) and Continuity of Government (COG) exercises.
  • Compliance Oversight: Collaborate with the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) on compliance-related tasks.
  • Incident Management: Assist in managing security incidents and contribute to the design and documentation of security frameworks.
  • Contingency Development: Aid in the formulation and documentation of contingency plans, disaster recovery strategies, and Continuity of Operations (CONOPS) plans.

Qualifications:

  • Clearance: Must hold an active Top Secret (TS) Clearance with SCI Eligibility.
  • Certifications: Required certifications include Network+, Security+, CASP, GSEC, GSLC, CISSP, CEH, CISM, or CISA.
  • Experience:
    • A minimum of three years in roles such as Information Systems Security Officer, Information Systems Security Engineer, or Facility Security Manager.
    • At least three years of experience in evaluating and implementing corrective measures based on vulnerability management tools.
  • Technical Proficiency: Extensive knowledge of the Microsoft Windows operating environment with administrator-level access.
  • Work Experience: Familiarity with SCIF operations in various regions.
