Job Opportunity:

Madden Industrial is seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Machinist to join their team in Beaverton, OR. This is a direct hire, swing shift opportunity with a competitive hourly rate of $27-$33, plus a $3 shift differential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate CNC lathes and other machine tools to produce high-precision parts.
  • Perform complex adjustments and troubleshooting to ensure parts meet print specifications.
  • Assist lead personnel in resolving issues with programs, tooling, and fixtures.
  • Conduct First Article Inspections using GD&T principles.
  • Train and oversee operators in equipment setup and adjustments.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing support teams to resolve problems.
  • Enter part quantities and work order information into software systems.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in machining and manufacturing, or formal apprenticeship and 2 years of experience.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Intermediate blueprint reading and shop math skills.
  • Knowledge of Win SPC, Documentum, and Jira.
  • Ability to interpret and apply GD&T.
  • CNC programming knowledge.
  • Proficiency in Windows Office and personal computer use.
