Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Engineer to join our Water/Wastewater team at Colliers Engineering & Design. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading project tasks, preparing engineering designs, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead project tasks and ensure timely completion
  • Prepare advanced engineering designs and technical data
  • Utilize advanced techniques and theories to complete assignments
  • Design and review complete project documents for conformity and quality assurance
  • Develop and apply new techniques and processes for designing engineering plans
  • Analyze and interpret data, formulate and solve problems
  • Prepare or review scopes of work and budgets, and schedule assignments
  • Provide direction to engineers, technicians, and administrative staff
  • Represent the organization in a variety of ways as an expert on engineering assignments
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree in environmental engineering or civil engineering
  • PE preferred
  • 7+ years of experience in the civil/environmental engineering field with concentration in water/wastewater design
  • Experience with AutoCAD and OpenRoads is desired
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Design experience with water and wastewater treatment plant process and design
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions
