Job Summary:

The Clinical Equipment Specialist is a key member of our Healthcare Technology Management team, responsible for maintaining and repairing clinical equipment to ensure optimal patient care. This role requires a strong understanding of medical equipment and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on clinical equipment, including preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration.
Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of clinical equipment, including its operation, maintenance, and repair.
Collaborate with healthcare staff to identify equipment needs and develop solutions to improve patient care.
Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and repairs, including documentation of service performed and equipment status.

Requirements:

Associate's degree in a related field, such as biomedical equipment technology or a related field, or equivalent experience.
2+ years of experience in medical equipment maintenance and repair, preferably in a healthcare setting.
Strong understanding of medical equipment, including its operation, maintenance, and repair.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively with healthcare staff and other stakeholders.

Working Conditions:

This role requires frequent lifting, bending, and standing, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities. The Clinical Equipment Specialist must be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional service and ensuring patient safety.
