Job Overview

Olsson is seeking a highly skilled Senior RCDD Designer to join our Facility Engineering and Design Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing complex data center and building systems using CAD/BIM software.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering analysis, design services, and professional consulting, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality outcomes and pioneering solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Master CAD/BIM software to create detailed engineering designs, focusing on efficient data center/building cable routing, equipment layouts, and communication systems.
  • Serve as the design authority on projects, driving high-quality outcomes and pioneering solutions.
  • Lead smaller projects with meticulous attention to detail, overseeing each phase from inception to completion.
  • Represent Olsson's dedication to excellence and partnership in client meetings.
  • Be ready to visit job sites as required, adapting to diverse conditions to guarantee project success.

We will consider candidates interested in being located out of our North Kansas City, Oklahoma City, Tulsa, Fort Worth, or Plano office locations. Candidates may also live anywhere in the United States and work remotely.

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Drafting and Design preferred.
  • 6+ years of CAD/BIM experience; proficiency in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.
  • RCDD Licensure.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and layout complex engineering drawings, with a preference for experience in BIM 360, Navisworks, and Revit.
