Job Summary

We are seeking dedicated Staff Nurses with a RN to join our diverse team in Elgin and be a part of our life-changing mission. As a Staff Nurse at Marklund, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Administer medications, tube feedings, and treatments as prescribed.
  • Prepare quarterly health assessments and annual assessments.
  • Inform the physician of changes in resident health status and implement physicians' orders to assure optimal healthcare.
  • Complete daily charting for care provided.
  • Act as a liaison between residents, parents, physicians, consultants, and case managers regarding resident status.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse (RN), current on the Illinois Health Care Worker Registry.
  • Possess current BLS CPR certification for Healthcare Workers.
  • Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job and to meet its functional and environmental requirements.
