Job Summary

As a Staff Nurse at Marklund, you will have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our residents by administering medications, tube feedings, and treatments as prescribed. You will also prepare quarterly health assessments and annual assessments, inform the physician of changes in resident health status, and implement physicians' orders to ensure optimal healthcare.

You will work closely with our residents, parents, physicians, consultants, and case managers to ensure the best possible care for our residents. Responsibilities
  • Administer medications, tube feedings, and treatments as prescribed
  • Prepare quarterly health assessments and annual assessments
  • Inform the physician of changes in resident health status and implement physicians' orders
  • Complete daily charting for care provided
  • Act as a liaison between residents, parents, physicians, consultants, and case managers
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a current LPN license, be current on the Illinois Health Care Worker Registry, and have BLS CPR certification for Healthcare Workers. You will also need to be able to perform the essential functions of the job and meet its functional and environmental requirements.
