Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and Monitor Patient Progress: Regularly assess patients' nutritional status and monitor their progress, making adjustments to their care plans as needed.
  • Provide Education and Support: Educate patients and their families on healthy eating habits, nutrition, and disease management, providing ongoing support and guidance throughout their care.
  • Document Patient Information: Accurately and thoroughly document patient information, including medical history, dietary needs, and treatment plans.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or related field.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in clinical dietetics, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.
  • Licensure: Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) certification, as well as any required state licenses.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Nutrition: Advanced degree in nutrition or a related field.
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Records: Familiarity with electronic medical records systems and ability to navigate complex software.
  • Experience in Long-Term Care: Experience working in long-term care settings, such as nursing homes or assisted living facilities.
