Position Overview

Employment Type: Part-Time (Average 20 hours per week)

The Registered Dietitian will deliver essential nutritional services to clients at Matthew 25 AIDS Services. Responsibilities include educating clients on nutrition-related topics, evaluating their dietary and health requirements, creating tailored meal plans, monitoring the outcomes of these plans, and staying informed on the latest advancements in nutrition and food sciences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate effectively with clients regarding nutritional issues.
  • Assess dietary needs and develop personalized meal plans.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of meal plans.
  • Collaborate with healthcare staff involved in patient care.
  • Participate in case consultations and maintain accurate documentation of services provided.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in human nutrition, dietetics, food systems management, or a related field.
  • Registered Dietitian (RD) credential from the Commission on Dietitian Registration (CDR).
  • Licensure as a dietitian with the appropriate state board.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive client information responsibly.
  • Experience working with diverse populations, including those with varying sexual/gender orientations and multiple diagnoses.
