Job Title: Kindergarten/Pre-K Teacher

Location: Multiple locations in Illinois

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $17.00 per hour

Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Kindergarten/Pre-K Teacher to join our team at Little Learner Children's Academy. As a Kindergarten Qualified Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment for our young students.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans to promote the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth of children
  • Establish a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters a love of learning
  • Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues to ensure a collaborative approach to education
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education

Requirements:

  • Classroom teaching experience working with Kindergarten-1st grade
  • Teacher qualifications from the state of Illinois per DCFS Standards
  • Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or related field
  • Experience working in a licensed childcare facility (preferred)
  • Flexibility around hours and work schedule
