We are seeking skilled and detail-oriented individuals to join our production team at Canam Steel Corporation. In this role, you will play a critical part in assembling steel joist components and ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality.

About the Job
  • Job Type: Full-time.
  • Salary Range: Estimated annual salary $50,000 - $65,000.
  • Shift Schedule: Current 2nd shift 9-hour schedule: Monday - Thursday night (3pm - 12:30am), Friday night (2pm to 10:30pm), and mandatory alternating Saturdays night (2pm to 10:30pm). When working the 8-hour schedule, Monday - Friday (2:00pm-10:30pm).
Responsibilities and Requirements
  • Set up jigs and tools according to specifications.
  • Use specialized equipment to move and position components.
  • Inspect work for quality and accuracy.
  • Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability.
  • Candidates should have six months of experience in a similar role and a high school diploma or equivalent.
Work Environment

You will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with opportunities to learn and grow. You will work near moving mechanical parts and be exposed to fumes or airborne particles. Hard hat, Metatarsal safety boots, Safety glasses, Ear plugs, Tacking shield, Welding sleeves, Leather gloves will be provided to ensure your safety while working at the facility.
