Salary

The estimated salary for this role is $60,000 per year, based on the location in Buckeye, AZ. This includes base pay, shift differential, overtime, retention bonuses, and production incentives.

Job Description

This role involves assembling steel joist components ready for final welding, consistent with corporate mission and departmental financial objectives.

• Set up jigs, read and interpret shop drawings necessary for such work.
• Moves parts into position.
• Aligns parts.
• Tack welds or clamps parts into position ready for moving along conveyor to final welding area.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor, including cleaning, metal scrap removal, and other joist assembly-related activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least six months experience in a heavy manufacturing environment, preferably in the steel industry.
• The ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written and oral instructions.
