Safety Supervisor Job Description

Perdue Farms, a leading provider of premium proteins, is seeking a highly skilled Safety Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our safety team, you will play a critical role in ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for our employees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective safety programs and procedures to minimize risks and prevent accidents.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on safety protocols and procedures.
  • Collaborate with management and employees to identify and address safety concerns.
  • Investigate incidents and near-misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in industrial safety or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Working Conditions:

The Safety Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent exposure to changing conditions. The position requires the ability to work in a team environment and to communicate effectively with employees at all levels.
