Overview

Revelations Counseling & Wellness is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Pediatric Mental Health Counselor to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing integrated care to children and families in our community.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for children and families, taking into account their unique needs and circumstances.
  • Provide evidence-based outpatient therapy for children and families, focusing on promoting resilience, growth, and overall well-being.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including pediatricians, child psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive care and support for our clients.
  • Develop and implement crisis, safety, relapse prevention, and wellness plans, tailored to the specific needs of each child and family.
  • Ensure timely completion of case notes, documentation, and treatment plans, adhering to high standards of professional responsibility.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a mental health field from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 3 years of counseling experience, with a strong focus on pediatric care.
  • Passion for integrated wellness and its role in mental health and overall well-being.
  • Strong commitment to ethical practice and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and families.
  • Empathetic and nurturing approach, with the ability to motivate clients to achieve their goals.
  • Completion of specialized training in child and adolescent counseling, including techniques and interventions suitable for younger clients.
  • Practical experience working with children and families, including internships, clinical rotations, or professional roles in settings like schools, clinics, or child development centers.
  • Self-aware and mentally stable, with the ability to manage a caseload of at least 32 sessions per week.

Licensure and Certifications

  • Independent Pennsylvania license (LPC, LCSW, LMFT)
  • Act 33/34 Clearances
  • FBI Clearances
