Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and implement a calendar of activities that cater to the diverse recreational needs of our residents, including games, arts and crafts, and social events.
  • Supervise and support activity staff and volunteers to ensure the delivery of high-quality programs and services.
  • Collaborate with the Administrator to develop and maintain a system for resident use of recreational equipment and resources.
  • Monitor and report on resident participation and engagement, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance their overall well-being.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of residents at all times, reporting any incidents or concerns to the Administrator.
Requirements:
  • Must possess certification or be eligible to obtain certification as outlined by state and federal regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to relate positively to residents, families, and staff.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to providing exceptional care and service.
  • Physical and sensory requirements include walking, reaching, climbing, bending, lifting, and grasping, with the ability to read and write, and communicate verbally and in writing.
