Role Summary: The Senior Branch Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily functions, sales, and member services of a full-service Credit Union branch. This role involves coaching and developing the Assistant Branch Manager and branch staff, ensuring exceptional member experiences, managing risks, and supporting the growth of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the flow of cash and financial instruments in line with Credit Union policies.
  • Evaluate the risk associated with all financial transactions conducted by branch staff.
  • Direct and oversee activities to implement policies regarding credit lines, real estate loans, and consumer loans.
  • Supervise the implementation of services such as delinquent account collections, loan authorizations, and account openings.
  • Establish procedures for safeguarding assets, records, and loan collateral.
  • Set branch goals and action plans, continuously monitoring performance against these objectives.
  • Promote and sell various Credit Union products and services to members.
  • Engage in community outreach to enhance brand visibility and strengthen local relationships.
  • Lead and manage the branch team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
  • Analyze financial data to assess the branch's current and future financial health.
  • Prepare necessary financial reports to comply with Credit Union and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and manage annual budgets and staffing needs.
  • Review and process loan applications.
  • Address member concerns and resolve issues effectively.
  • Maintain relationships with banking-related industries such as insurance and real estate.
  • Collaborate with internal partners, including Business Development Officers and Loan Officers.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 5-10 years of experience in sales, customer service, or client-facing roles.
  • At least 2 years of supervisory or management experience.
  • Leadership experience in a financial institution is essential.
  • Experience in policy compliance and management is required.
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
