Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Operations Manager to join our team at the DMC Children's Hospital of Michigan. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our surgical suite, ensuring seamless delivery of patient care services.

About the Role

This is a full-time position working 36 hours per week, with a shift schedule of 12 hours per day. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing management, with experience in healthcare operations and a proven track record of success in improving quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the daily operations of the surgical suite, including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve quality and patient satisfaction metrics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth workflow and effective communication.
  • Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and develop actionable plans to address them.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Michigan.
  • Three years of progressive nursing experience, with a minimum of two years in a leadership role.
About the Salary

The estimated annual salary for this position is $85,000 - $115,000, based on industry standards and location.
