Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly qualified Lecturer in Slavic Languages and Literatures to join our team at the University of Virginia. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Russian language courses and contributing to the department's academic programs.

Responsibilities
  • Teach Russian language courses to undergraduate and graduate students
  • Develop and implement curriculum for Russian language courses
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback
  • Contribute to departmental events and activities
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Slavic or a related field
  • Native or near-native fluency in Russian and English
  • Strong commitment to teaching and academic excellence
  • Experience teaching Russian language at a North American institution of higher education
